Urgent Special Meeting: 11-02-06

MINUTES

There were questions regarding the urgency or necessity of contributing.

Ray reported that the original aim of the campaign was to raise $400,000; they have since rebudgeted to $320,000 and scaled back some of their original fundraising plans. They have recently met the mark of $320,000; any additional funds will be used for advertising. We can request how we would like any additional money spent

Grif reported that his best estimate was that we would net over $6,600 from the event

There was a lengthy discussion in which most present voiced their opinions. Cheri and Pat recommended donating more money and their opinions were thoughtfully considered due to their enormous efforts on the Harvest Moon dinner/dance.

We will donate $1,500 to the open space campaign APPROVED with Richard standing aside….

There was also a discussion about our relationship with friends of the Russian river and our future legal status
